Department of English

The Department of English at East Yangon University was established alongside the university in the early 2000s, situated in Thanlyin Township, Myanmar. Its inception reflects the nation’s growing focus on English Language Teaching in the era of global integration. The Department offers Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Master of Arts (MA) degrees specializing in English language and literature. Led by Prof. Dr. Aung Kyi, the department consists of seasoned educators and researchers who have played a pivotal role in enhancing the department’s academic standing through their dedication to teaching, learning, and scholarly research initiatives.

ဌာနမှလုပ်ဆောင်ပေးနိုင်သော လုပ်ငန်း

(1) Translation services between Myanmar and English

အင်္ဂလိပ်မှ မြန်မာ၊ မြန်မာမှအင်္ဂလိပ်သို့ ဘာသာပြန်ဆိုပေးခြင်း။

(2) Reviewing English usage in research papers

သုတေသနစာစောင်များတွင် အင်္ဂလိပ်စာ အသုံးအနှုန်းများစစ်ဆေးပေးခြင်း။

(3) Offering English proficiency training

အင်္ဂလိပ်စာစွမ်းရည်မြှင့်တင်ရေးသင်တန်းများပေးခြင်း။
