Department of International Relation

The Department of International Relations at East Yangon University was founded in 2000 with four faculty members. Professor Daw Khin Khin Lay served as the first Head of Department. Since then, the department has been led by the following professors: Daw Khin Khin Lay (2000-2004), Dr. Chit Khin (2004-2012), Dr. Khaing Khaing Tun Myint (2012-2019), Dr. Minn Thaung (2019-2024), Dr. Yin Yin Aung (2024), Dr. Win Win Myint (2024-present). In 2025, the department of International Relations comprises 17 faculty members, including three Professors, six Associate Professors, four Lecturers and four Tutors. The department of International Relations offers the degree of BA, BA (Hons)and MA programs.
