The department of philosophy in East Yangon University began to open in 2000 year. In opening class, philosophy major students have to learn from first year to fourth year. In later 2010, Honours class, Qualifying class, Master class opened. Honours class, Qualifying and Master classes are now opening in 2024-2025 Academic Year.
